Title: Entry Level Laboratory Technician
Location: Miami, FL 33196 United States
Duration: 0-12 Months (Possible Extension)
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour
CORE FUNCTIONS:
· Perform preparation of reagents and controls
· Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation.
· Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided)
· Perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples.
· Organize stock and maintain inventory; order stock as needed.
· Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices whenever possible.
· Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
· Associate Degree- with 3 years’ experience
· 4-year bachelor’s degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) with 0-2 years’ experience
· Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred.
